PLANNING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. £23,097 - £29,286 per annum
REF: REG182
Location:
Town Hall, Barking, Essex

Could you enjoy a job that includes amongst other things inspecting all over busy building sites while talking to builders or DIY homeowners alike; checking houses up and down for multiple occupation or dealing with shop or factory owners? Are you a person with confidence, people skills and an awareness of the importance of equal opportunities and diversity?

As a member of a small planning enforcement team of three officers you will support the Development Control Planning function of the Council; in particular dealing with a range of reported breaches of planning control throughout the culturally diverse area of Barking and Dagenham Council.
